Charli XCX's new album, Charli, will be released later this year
The English pop star embarks on a worldwide tour in September.
Charli XCX has announced that her highly anticipated third studio album, Charli, will be released on September 13. To celebrate the news, the English pop star has shared the music video for her hit single 'Blame It On Your Love', featuring Lizzo.
Bursting onto the pop scene in 2013 with her debut album, True Romance, and a series of high profile collaborations, recent years have seen Charli XCX moving towards a more experimental sound and image. She has also scooped two Billboard Music Awards, a YouTube Music Award, two Sesac Songwriter of the Year Awards, and nominations at the Grammys, BRIT Awards and MTV EMAs.
Her upcoming album will see Charli collaborating with some of the top names in the music world. A. G. Cook serves as executive producer, while Lizzo, Christine & The Queens, Haim, Troye Sivan, Brooke Candy, CupcaKKE, Big Freedia, Sky Ferreira, Clairo and Yaeki will also feature.
In support of the album, Charlie will kick off the 'Charli LIVE' world tour in America this September, before returning to Europe for a further 19 dates. See her UK dates below:
October 27: SWG3 Galvanisers, Glasgow
October 28: O2 Institute, Birmingham
October 30: Albert Hall, Manchester
