Caoilian Sherlock joins Tessa Rose Jackson for The Sad Duet Tour
The tour will hit various venues across Cork, Sherlock's native county, before a gig in Brighton, U.K.
Cork musician Caoilian Sherlock will join songwriter Tessa Rose Jackson this August for a series of live performances across Co. Cork.
Titled The Sad Duet Tour, it will include performances at Plugd Records in Cork City on August 7, Music Zone in Togher on August 8, Levi’s in Ballydehob on August 10, Prim’s Bookshop in Kinsale on August 11, and Love Is A Stranger Festival in Fermoy on August 15.
The shows reunite the pair following their collaboration on the 2025 track ‘Sad Duet’ as part of Jackson’s collaborative EP A Mirror Sometimes.
“Writing ‘Sad Duet’ with Tessa and Darius in the middle of a snowstorm in Dublin was really special; three strangers finding a shared voice while we hid from the wild Irish weather,” said Sherlock about the songwriting session.
“I’m thrilled we get to bring that moment back to life on a new tour and revisit those songs together in some of the most beautiful rooms in Ireland.”
The Cork native released his debut solo album Teenage Jesus in 2023, following several singles and the EP Big Child.
He has toured extensively across Ireland and the UK, both solo and with his band The Big Children.
“There’s nothing more special than playing music live to people in new, welcoming locations,” said Jackson ahead of the upcoming tour.
“Especially in such an intimate set-up. It’s going to be such a celebration of collaboration, music and connection, and we can’t wait to play!”
Tickets for The Sad Duet Tour are available here.
