C Duncan announces Ireland live dates in May 2017
New dates for Cork, Dublin and Limerick are added to the tour schedule of the Glasgow singer.
Following his shows in January and March, supporting Elbow, C Duncan added nine live dates to his 2017 run including dates for Ireland in Limerick, Cork and Dublin for this May.
The composer and musician released his second album THE MIDNIGHT SUN in October 2016, following his Mercury Prize nominated debut Architect. Mixing electronic elements and sweeping synth sounds with his instrumentation and his signature layered vocals; C Duncan’s second album explores more experimental territories.
The singer and multi-instrumentalist, whose music was already praised as ‘beautiful and strangely impenetrable’ by The Sunday Times Culture and as ‘an escapist episode of spectacular beauty’ by The Guardian, is now joined by a four-piece band. Together, the band will support the British rock band Elbow on their huge UK run this year, before they play their new added shows this May.
Here are the dates:
Cork Cyprus Avenue – Thursday 4 May
Dolans, Limerick – Friday 5 May
Whelans, Dublin – Saturday 6 May
Tickets priced €16 go on sale this Friday 13th January through www.ticketmaster.ie & usual outlets nationwide.
