Busted for Belfast & Dublin shows
Charlie Simpson is back onboard.
He said he'd never rejoin the pop-punk outfit that made his name in the early '00s but Charlie Simpson has had a change of heart.
The Fightstar frontman has confirmed he's rejoining the Busted fold alongside Matt Willis and James Bourne and they're hitting the road in the New Year.
Irish fans can look forward to live airings of the likes of 'Year 3000' when they take on Belfast's SSE Arena on May 30 and Dublin's 3Arena on May 31.
Tickets are priced from €53.15/£41.50 and go on sale from 9am this Friday from usual outlets.
Simpson says: "A year ago James and I got together and just started hanging out… and it felt really different, somehow, to how it had ten years ago. And the idea crept into my head after all that time apart: what would Busted look like today?"
As well as their first arena tour in 12 years, Busted are also now working on new music.
“For me, there’s a huge sense of unfinished business," says Willis. "I always thought in my heart we’d do Busted again, but that it was just a matter of when and how."
So says Bourne: “We’ve done this crazy, exciting, adventurous, scenic route back to being Busted. And now we’re here, we’re all super re-energised.”
