Buffalo Traffic Jam announce Dublin show
Fresh off a 10-date European run this month, the folk group announce their Across the Pond '27 tour.
American folk group Buffalo Traffic Jam have announced a Dublin show as part of their Across the Pond '27 tour, which kicks off in March of next year.
The 10-date European tour will start in Sweden on March 29 and see them hit Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and France for the first time. It will also make their return to the UK, before finishing up in the National Stadium Dublin on April 16.
The band recently announced their debut full-length album, Pictures of You. The 14-track project is set to be released on July 31 via Arista Records.
"When I lost my grandma this past fall, I went back home to my parents' farm for a couple of days," said Frankie Cassidy on the upcoming album.
"Together we sat down and sifted through old photos to display at her funeral, and it felt like living my whole life over again. Every image, old and recent, was a chapter in our family's story. I began writing our first album shortly after, and slowly realised these songs were doing the same thing.
"Each one captures a short, specific moment that shaped who I am. They aren't just songs. They're polaroids - snapshots of exactly what I felt at that time. I hope you listen to this and laugh, cry, smile, and drift back to your own moments - the ones that made you who you are."
Buffalo Traffic Jam are best known for their breakout single 'Fool's Gold'. The song, which launched them into the spotlight after signing with Arista Records, has accumulated nearly 100 million streams online.
Tickets go on sale here Friday, July 3 at 10 am.
