Budweiser Future Sounds: winners announced
The top ten in the Budweiser Future Sounds of Irish Music project will now get to work with acclaimed producer Rob Kirwan...
After a painstaking judging process involving Hot Press, Phantom, Budweiser and famed production and engineering whizz Rob Kirwan (U2, Depeche Mode), the hundreds upon hundreds of entries into the Budweiser Future Sounds of Irish Music initiative have been whittled down to a winning ten.
Without further ado, and in no particular order, the final acts:

These homegrown artists will now get to record in a purpose-built Dublin studio with Rob Kirwan, whose production and engineering CV includes Bell X1, Editors, PJ Harvey, Orbital, 30 Seconds To Mars, U2 and Delorentos. The cache of prizes also includes a Hot Press interview, Phantom 105.2 coverage and a photo-shoot.
