Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses looking for underground metal bands to represent Ireland at Bloodstock 2024

Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses have officially launched artist applications for their 2024 showcases.

The annual event provides a platform for underground bands across the Republic of Ireland- as well as the chance to play a slot at Bloodstock 2024.

35 bands will be accepted to take part in a series of showcases from late January to the Grand Final in Dublin on 11 May- which will feature six remaining acts.

For ten years, Metal 2 The Masses has provided a springboard for Irish musicians, enabling them to benefit from international press exposure and meet representatives from the music industry.

Organisers are seeking a variety of artists, welcoming all genres and sub-genres of metal.

Bands applying must be residing in the Republic of Ireland and have original music. All members must also be at least 18 years old.

It’s also requested that artists who apply make themselves available to travel to the UK on 8-11 August, when Bloodstock festival takes place.

There will be approximately eleven showcases leading up to the Grand Final on May 11th, where Bloodstock booking agent, Simon Hall, will be there to hand pick one of the finalists to represent Ireland on the New Blood Stage at the 20k capacity festival in Derbyshire.
