Bloc Party to play Phoenix Park

Bloc Party are en route to Dublin for a November 3 show in the Phoenix Park Marquee.
Support will come from Scottish stars Biffy Clyro and nascent art-rockers Foals.
It’s likely to be the last time Kele and the boys play here before starting work on their third album in Garret ‘Jacknife’ Lee’s home studio in South East England.
With 12 songs already stockpiled, the band hope to have new product in the shops ahead of the 2008 festival season.
Tickets go on sale next Friday at 9:00am, priced at €36.60 including booking fee. Tickets are limited to six per person and are available from www.ticketmaster.ie and all usual outlets.
