American rock band Bleachers have announced their forthcoming album, Everyone for Ten Minutes, set to drop on May 22 via Dirty Hit.
Following the self-titled record, Bleachers (2024), Everyone for Ten Minutes is the group's fifth album, the second under Dirty Hit.
Alongside the announcement, the group has released the lead track ‘you and forever’, as well as its music video, which was directed by Alex Lockett. The video features lead vocalist Jack Antonoff and his wife, actress Margaret Qualley.
Formed in 2013, the Bleachers comprises Antonoff, Mikey Freedom Hart, Sean Hutchinson, Evan Smith, Michael Riddleberger and Zem Audu.
In 2014, the New Jersey band released their debut single, ‘I Wanna Get Better’, as well as their first album, Strange Desire. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Strange Desire, the group reimagined and re-recorded the record, releasing A Stranger Desired.
Besides being the lead singer of the group, Antonoff is also an accomplished producer. He co-wrote and co-produced Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet and Man's Best Friend. Most of Kendrick Lamar's Grammy-winning album GNX was also co-written and produced by Antonoff.
Antonoff was also Taylor Swift's longtime producer, working with her since 2013, when they co-wrote ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’. He worked on Swift's subsequent albums, including Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore and Midnights. However, he didn't produce Swift's most recent LP, The Life of a Showgirl.
