Billy Idol books Dublin date
It’s not every day that an albino announces in a rebel yell that he is coming to visit, so you should all be chuffed to hear Billy Idol is bringing his Devil’s Playground tour to Dublin.
The white-haired wonder plays the Point Theatre on November 9 and tickets priced either €39.50 or €44.50 (within gobbing distance of the stage, presumably) go on sale from Ticketmaster and the other usual outlets nationwide on August 11.
Eyewitnesses of his recent performance at the Download festival in the UK claim the wild one not only plays all his own classics these days but even takes a crack at Van Halen’s legendary ‘Jump’ anthem as well. We can picture him in a gold jumpsuit already...
