Bicycles and Tricycles
The latest release from the godfathers of ambient gets rated...
The simplicity of previous Orb albums belied a vast musical knowledge, but on Bicycles And Tricycles it seems the pressure of competition has resulted in a ‘more is more’ approach – something which stifles many of the ideas on this record. That said, where it work, it’s excellent. If only there wasn’t so much going on… still, it’s better than Zero fucking 7.
