Bella Kay announces additional National Stadium show
The singer-songwriter had her breakout last August and has released three EPs and a debut album since.
Bella Kay has announced an additional performance at Dublin's National Stadium for February 11. This will precede her originally planned performance on the 12th.
The indie-pop singer-songwriter from Texas released her debut album, My Reckless Abandon, this July. It includes her Hot 100 debut, hit single 'iloveitiloveitiloveit'. She is now touring the US, UK and Europe.
Her breakout single 'The Sick' went viral in August 2025, leading to her debut EP sick to my stomach. She released a second EP in February and a third in May.
With a sound comparable to Gracie Abrams or Olivia Rodrigo, Kay's album tackles complex issues deeply personal to her, such as low self-esteem, eating disorders, and racial identity.
“When people hear my music, I want them to recognize themselves and their own experiences,” Kay said. “Those tracks are the ones that I listen to one thousand times—songs are better when they’re honest.”
'A Father's Lament', for instance, features a sample of the singer's father giving her advice as a young biracial woman.
"My dad, who always encouraged us to pursue our passions, bought me a starter guitar,” Kay said. “And I literally never stopped.” The 20-year-old found an outlet in songwriting, as her family moved frequently during her childhood. “With all those moves, I didn't have time to lose myself in friends,” she said. “I had to have a strong relationship with myself.”
Tickets to the added date are available here.
