BBC confirms premiere date for Queer Britain, starring Riyadh Khalaf
“We’re trying to uncover the issues that exist in the LGBTQ community that aren’t spoken about,” internet star Riyadh Khalaf told Hot Press back in March.
BBC Three has confirmed that YouTube star Riyadh Khalaf's new show, Queer Britain will premiere on May 7. The show will explore topics effecting the LGBT community through episodic documentaries, as Riyadh tells the audience of his own experiences, while also exploring other topics such as body image, pornography, and racism.
“We’re trying to uncover the issues that exist in the LGBTQ community that aren’t spoken about,” Riyadh told Hot Press earlier this year. “We’ve got six individual documentaries and through them we explore LGBTQ homelessness; racism, faith and sexuality; the word ‘queer’ and how people are now identifying as queer before they identify as LGB or T; queer porn, and body image.”
Check out the list of upcoming episodes and their topics below. You can read our full interview with Riyadh here.
