BARE in the woods announces House of Pain and Mike Skinner as first headliners
Hip-hop legends House of Pain will play their first Irish show for six years, while The Streets frontman Mike Skinner is also lined up for the festival in Portarlington.
Alongside the first headliners, the festival organisers have also announced that The Correspondents, DJ Dan Shake, The Hot Sprockets, Maddog McCrea, New Secret Weapon, Sounds of System Breakdown and Rews will also perform at the three day event.
Meanwhile, Irish comedy legends Andrew Maxwell & Karl Spain are among the first to be announced for the BARE Comedy Stage.
"We go to great lengths to give our fans an alternative to what is already out there and our line-up this summer promises to be unique! We will have another big announcement in February, but in the meantime, we hope fans like this taster of what's in store for BARE 17”, says BARE In The Woods promoter Peter Dunne.
The bespoke festival site features a party island on a lake, chill out spots hidden amongst the trees and a full sized Crannog hosting the Spoken Word Stage.
BARE in the Woods is located 50 minutes from Dublin and is accessible via motorway networks to all major Irish cities in under two hours. The site is located close to Portarlington railway station and serviced by Dublin Coach, with a 24-hour service to Dublin, Limerick and Cork.
