Babybeef announces album release date
The official launch party is in the Twisted Pepper.
Hot Press ‘Hot For 2010’ act Babybeef has confirmed a September 17 show in Dublin’s Twisted Pepper, which will officially introduce the world to her debut album. Prior to that there's an August 13 show in the Trinity College Science Gallery, which non-students may be able to sneak into.
The electro-popper also known as Sarah Carroll Kelly (no relation to Ross!) assembled the record in the capital’s Experimental Audio Studios with Stephen Shannon producing.
The four tracks – ‘I’m OK’, ‘Music’, ‘No No’ and ‘Thunderstruck’ – streaming at [link]www.myspace.com/babybeefmusic[/link] suggest that Little Boots and La Roux had better start looking to their laurels.
