Ash beat Janet
IT WAS KRISTAL all round last week as Ash's Free All Angels album debuted at number one in the UK.
The collection sold 39,936 copies – that’s 3,023 more than Janet Jackson’s All For You, which had to settle for the runners-up spot.
Meanwhile, tabloid reports that Tim Wheeler is planning to write and record with Noel Gallagher have been dismissed by a spokesman as "imaginative journalism.
"Nobody seems to know where it originated from," they continue. "There’s been no contact between Noel and Tim, or indeed any member of the Ash set-up."

Finally on the Ash front, the band are set to play G-A-Y on May 12th as part of the London club's ABBA night.
