Arctic Monkeys working on new album, announce 2018 for release date

In an interview with motorcycle magazine For The Ride, bassist Nick O'Malley let it slip that the band started recording the album earlier this month.

He also said that he expected the album to be released in 2018, adding that “if it isn’t [out by then], we’ve got problems."

The time the Arctic Monkeys released an album was back in 2013, with AM. Members of the band have been working on side projects in recent years, including Alex Turner's his work with Miles Kane on The Last Shadow Puppets.
