The weekend's election results make bleak reading for the outgoing government, and while there's still numbers to be crunched, some are calling for a change. Could the young Dubliner be the change that we're looking for?
The boffins are still crunching the numbers, but whatever way you look at it, this weekend's election was a disaster for Enda Kenny and Fine Gael.
From the stable coalition government they enjoyed with Labour, they now find themselves facing a series of uninviting choices, including cosying up to their long-time rivals Fianna Fáil.
The state of affairs has some people calling for the head of their leader (not literally, we haven't regressed that much), and while the prospects of Enda being ousted remain slim, there's plenty of discussion as to the future leader of the party - and, possibly, the nation.
Back in 2010, Leo Varadkar was a first term TD making waves within the Dáil; now, he's seen as one of the frontrunners to assume the leadership of the party. Our man Olaf Tyaransen posed the questions - topics included drugs, sex, religion and lots more besides.
Check out our chinwag with the man who may lead Fine Gael in the future right here.
