Anton Corbijn's U2 photo-book released this week

As revealed before Christmas on hotpress.com, long-time U2 associate Anton Corbijn hits the shelves this week with his U2&I photo-book.

Along with a total of 380 colour and duotone plates, there are glowing testimonials from Bill Clinton, Helena Christensen, William Gibson, Michael Stipe, Paul Morley, Wim Wenders and Salman Rushdie who hits the nail on the proverbial when he says that the Dutch photographer and U2 "deserve one another."

There's also a fascinating section in which Corbijn and Bono interview each other, humorously reviewing their shared history and offering many an anecdote on their friendship.

The book, as you can imagine, is visually stunning with the snapper supplying his own elaborate handwritten captions.

While at €98 RRP not the cheapest acquisition you'll make this year, U2&I is one of the best books on Bono, Larry, Adam and Edge yet.
