Another Late Night
Tommy Guerro, digs through his crates to deliver a 16 track mix of dusty, bawdy and quite possibly trendy blues, funk, soul and jazz
The Another Late Night series just keeps on getting more and more interesting thanks to some clever selections of celebrity selectas.
This time round, it’s San Fran hip-hop oddball Tommy Guerro, who digs through his crates to deliver a 16 track mix of dusty, bawdy and quite possibly trendy blues, funk, soul and jazz. If you dig Tommy’s sense of humour on his own output, you’ll be feeling the reasonably obscure cuts from the likes of Cymande, Muddy Waters, Bill Withers, Can and Santana on display here. If not, it all might be a bit too, well, noodly for you. And his cover of the Beatles’ ‘Come Together’ ain’t up to much either.
Overall, it’s good if you swing that way.
