Amazing Radio Launches In Dublin

UK-based alternative music station Amazing Radio has started broadcasting in Dublin on DAB and DAB+. If you don’t have a digital radio or live outside the capital, you can also tune in to the DJ-driven station at [link]amazingradio.com[/link]
Playing only new and emerging artists sourced from their sister [link]amazingtunes.com[/link] site, their presenters include The Guardian’s Paul Lester, former Cocteau Twin and Bella Union label boss Simon Raymonde and veteran new band champion Gary Crowley.
Their current top 10 (in descending order) features Parks, Squares And Alleys, Wolf Alice, Thumpers. Papa, London Grammar, Wardell, Marika Hackman, Valerie June, Prides and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, so the music really is as fresh as they claim it is.
Programme Director Matt Jamison says they have “big plans for Dublin”, which will be rolled out over the coming weeks. In the meantime, they’re hungry for Irish music, which should be uploaded to Amazing Tunes.
