Alison Krauss to play extra Dublin show
Due to overwhelming public demand, Alison Krauss and her band Union Station will be playing an extra date at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on Monday September 5.
Krauss and her band of bluegrass legends were due to play just one night at the Olympia, on Sunday September 4, but have decided to extend their stay.
The band will include Jerry Douglas, who has earned a reputation as one of the world’s best dobro players.
Alison Krauss and Union Station arrive on the back of an unprecedented run of success.
Krauss has picked up 17 Grammys throughout her career, and her collective’s most recent album Lonely Runs Both Ways has already been certified Gold by the RIAA.
Tickets starting from €43.50 (including booking fee) are on-sale now from Ticketmaster, and all usual outlets nationwide.
