Alex Cameron announces Dublin show for September
Australian indie-pop singer Alex Cameron announces live show at the Button Factory in Dublin for 22 September this year.
The provocative singer treated fans to a new single and self-directed music video, synthful and sexual ‘Miami Memory’ on 7 May. The video stars former ‘Girls’ actress and girlfriend Jemima Kirk, who has featured in other music videos in the past.
Cameron’s gig in Dublin is just one stop on his world tour, announced alongside the release of his music video.
The singer has not released an album since 2017’s Forced Witness which had collaborations with The Killers’ Brandon Flowers. Cameron’s mix of creepy, glib lyrics targeting toxic masculinity and catchy rhythms create an erratic yet fun atmosphere. His new single continues this tradition of his previous albums.
Cameron’s dancing abilities and chemistry with his sax player, Roy Molloy, are the perfect ingredients for a red-hot show.
Tickets for €18 will go on sale on ticketmaster.ie at 10:00am this Friday, 10 May.
