"This EP is about finding confidence, my voice, shutting out negativity, and embracing all of the highs and lows that come with chasing a dream."
AILSHA has announced the release of her debut EP Good Looking Girl, Awful Music for this Friday, June 6.
The three song EP will include previously released singles ‘Hot Girls’ and ‘Press Start’, as well as the EP’s title track ‘Good Looking Girl, Awful Music’, billed as AILSHA’s “heaviest track to date.”
"This EP contains my best songs yet, songs that spill my story as an artist, and make it clear that I'm not going anywhere," said AILSHA. She added that the project's title "comes from a comment someone left on one of my videos last year."

"Instead of letting it get to me, I turned it into this EP that I am so very proud of. This EP is about finding confidence, my voice, shutting out negativity, and embracing all of the highs and lows that come with chasing a dream."
The artist received national attention in 2024 with 'Go Tobann,' an explosive Celtic metal track which was the runner-up to Bambie Thug's 'Doomsday Blue' in last year's Eurosong competition.
AILSHA's latest release, 'Call In A Minute,' made Spotify's New Music Friday UK and Alternative Ireland editorial playlists, and hit No. 1 on the Irish iTunes Metal Charts.
She is also the host of the RTÉ2XM show AMPLIFY, which spotlights "boundary-pushing Irish and international artists in heavier music genres."
