9 Shorts Picked Up For Irish and International Screenings
Following on from the success of the 2016 Audi Dublin Film Festival, 9 short films that premiered at the festival have now been picked up by numerous national and international screens.
A busy March awaits the 9 short films!
First off they are set to screen at the Irish Film Institution this Easter Monday and will then show at the Dingle Film Festival on Sunday March 20.
Aside from these, the shorts will then begin a journey around the world at various film festivals including; Chicago Irish Film Festival (March 6), Irish Film Festival Boston (March 13), Toronto Irish Film Festival (March 5) and the Belgrade Irish Film Festival (March 21 and 22). This years ADIFF showcased the brilliant talent that Irish filmmakers have to offer and it's a credit to see them being presented on an international platform. The shorts was commissioned by the Irish Film Board to commemorate the 1916 Rising and each film bares recognition to the Rising.A Father's Letter- Directed by Joe Dolan
