Chef-owner Paul Flynn is a real talent. No wonder visitors travel from miles around to feast in his impressive dining-room. Expect generous portions, excellent service and finely executed, rustic-tinged fare. There’s also a cookery school, accomodation in The Townhouse and a wine bar where the reasonably priced nibbles include Crispy Button Mushrooms & Aioli, and Crab Créme Brulée with Pickled Cucumber & Toast. Do what we’ve done on several occasions and make a weekend of it.
