The atmospheric Schoolhouse was built in the 1860s on the banks of Owenmore river in secluded woodland, but is now a delightful house that sleeps four. This two-bedroom house, perfect for short getaways, was once the schoolroom and two-bedroom house of the schoolmaster. Nowadays its cosy vestibule leads through to a light filled sitting room where an open fire adds a welcoming glow to the double-height living room. You’ll still see the original school fireplace, chalk boards and coat hooks, and legend has it that the last owner buried all his money in a tin on the school grounds.
