The Best Of Buds is the brainchild of Carole Horgan, who spent her childhood picking flowers and playing shop – much to the chagrin of the neighbours whose gardens she raided! When she grew up, she became a high flying recruitment executive travelling all over the world – but when the recession hit, she decided it was time to follow her dream. Training with Jenny Packer in the UK, Horgan moved into a beautiful art deco premises in Winthorp Arcade, and began bewitching Cork city with her stunning floral creations. The shop is a colour-filled, architectural delight, and Horgan takes great care in creating expressive floral arrangements for any occasion.
