Another big name venue on the northside, The Academy hosts major acts in an intimate setting. There have been some legendary nights here over the years, with acts as varied as Mogwai, Snoop Dogg, Foals and Odd Future all playing memorable gigs. Holding just over 800, the venue boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound. Elsewhere in the building, The Academy 2 and The Green Room are the places to be if you want a close-up view of international acts on the cusp of the big time.
