A lot of Irish restaurants highlight their use of local ingredients, but none that we’re aware of have gone as far as Kevin Aherne and pledged that everything in his kitchen is from within a 12-mile radius. In fact, much of the produce comes from just 12-yards away courtesy of Sage’s kitchen garden. The made for sharing tasting boards underline just what a wonderful food-producing area East Cork is, and there’s a separate Greenroom Café for more casual grazing.
