Review: The Last of Us: Part I
The game is superb on PS5, but is that enough to entice back veterans of this twist-filled, heart-wrenching, adventure?
The Last of Us: Part I
Sony (PS5)
One of the greatest games of all time has been completely rebuilt and refurnished for next gen audiences. For the uninitiated, The Last Of Us follows the story of Joel, a weary survivor of a virus-induced apocalypse, hired to smuggle Ellie, an effervescent 14-year old, out of a military zone. The gameplay is thrilling, but the character development and drama are the stand-outs in a story adapted for an upcoming HBO series. The game is superb on PS5, but is that enough to entice back veterans of this twist-filled, heart-wrenching, adventure?
