This gorgeous old country pub is right at the heart of the Carlingford action, which gets particularly lively during the summer months, when the town welcomes a United Nations of visitors. Whilst the Beef & Guinness Pie and burgers both comprehensively hit the spot, it’s the super-fresh oysters and crab claws that are the real stars. Artisan beer fans should check out the locally brewed Tholsel Blonde and Taafe’s Red.
