Almost everyone in Dublin knows Greek food from holidays spent travelling to the abundance of islands that make up one of Europe’s loveliest places. But really good Greek food hasn’t been easy to come by in the capital. Mykonos fills that bill superbly. Eating in the ‘mezzedes’ style is recommended: all of the familiar staples – hummus, tzatziki, stuffed vine leaves, dolmades and more – are present and correct, but here they are superbly executed. There’s a classic Greek fish selection: prawns, mussels, sardines, calamari. And the charcoal grill is ex- pertly used to infuse meat dishes with a glorious taste of the Mediterranean.
Best Dish: Kleftiko (Slow-Cooked Lamb Shank on the Bone with Roasted Vegetables & Potatoes) – €23.95
