Minding Creative Minds to hold May Meet & Greet and other events

Irish creatives are once more invited to take part in the Minding Creative Minds (MCM) online meet and greet session, which takes placeMonday, May 25 at 7pm. Registration is required, which you can do here.

The upcoming monthly meet and greet session offers a space for creatives and artists to learn from each other's experiences, opening important conversations with their peers in an effort to revive the arts sector.

Throughout the month of May, MCM will also hold a range of online workshops, starting on Monday, May 11 at 1pm, where Pamela McQueen will explore approaches to drafting a play and methods to prepare a script for producers and theatre makers. You can register here.

McQueen will follow this workshop with a talk on pitching and planning plays, exploring ways to connect within the industry, collaborative staging and more. It will take place on May 13 at 1pm, with registration taking place here.

Also on May 13, MCM will hold their bi-monthly online career clinic, where creative are offered the opportunity for a 10-15 minute one-on-one session with a creative specialist, where they can seek guidance, ask questions, or engage in a focused discussion on any area where you need support. Wrapping up this month of workshops, McQueen will return with a talk on May 20 at 1pm guiding playwrights through funding, exploring support organisations, and present a script effectively for awards. Registration is open here.

As always, those attending the MCM meet and greet set the agenda. Each informal meeting follows its own course while providing a platform to source core information about Minding Creative Minds and their initiatives.
