Lambay Irish Whiskey's Sabine Sheehan wins Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador of the Year at Whisky Magazine's Icons of Whiskey
The winners of the Icons of Whisky were revealed in an online announcement by Whisky Magazine.
Lambay Irish Whiskey's Sabine Sheenan has been named among the winners of this year's Icons of Whisky by Whisky Magazine – taking home the award for Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador of 2021.
"The drinks industry has faced one of its most challenging years in recent history, which has completely altered the platform from which many are able to work, from in-person to virtual," Whisky Magazine stated. "From bartenders to brand ambassadors, retailers to visitor attraction managers, the 2021 Icons of Whisky awards honours those who have worked tirelessly for the growth of the industry."
Lambay Island is just three miles off the coast of Dublin, Ireland. This small and historically strategic island is a story in itself, with many intriguing tales of dynasty and allegiances to explore. Most importantly, it is the home of a fine Irish whiskey that is inspired by the natural beauty of this fascinating place.
Launched in 2018, Lambay Whiskey is an independent whiskey company that blends and bottles its own unique whiskey.
Lambay Irish Whiskey takes the blending and expertise deployed in making great Cognac, and combines that with centuries-old Irish distilling knowledge. The result is Lambay Whiskey: a unique craft Irish whiskey from a very special place, with a marvellous, distinctive taste.
It's all smiles today at Lambay Whiskey HQ as we received news that Sabine Sheehan our Senior Brand Manager & Global Brand Ambassador has won Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador Of the Year! The news was well and truly received, kickstarting 2021 on such a positive note. pic.twitter.com/6xasrmG5Ny
