Few of Dublin’s Indian restaurants hit the spot as consistently as the award-winning Konkan. A short stroll from Harold’s Cross bridge, the kitchen turns out both perfectly executed classics – the Chicken Malai Tikka is especially awesome – and quite a few regional dishes that you won’t have seen here before, like the melt in the mouth Kerala Lamb & Potato Curry and Spinach and Green Pea Hariyali Kebab. The respective €23.50 and €25.50 Vegetarian and Mixed Tasting Menus showcase exactly what Konkan is all about, with the samosas, Murgh Seena kebabs, prawns and breads the best we’ve tasted on Irish soil.
Best Dish: Murgh Methi Malai Chicken Simmered in a Creamy Sauce with Green Fenugreek Leaves, Spinach, Ginger & Turmeric – €15.90
