Modestly describing itself as “a small neighborhood wine room and kitchen”, Forest Avenue’s little baby sister consistently wows with its small plates – the Duck Leg & Heart Spring Roll with Elderberry Hoisin is our current fave – and its €35 and €49 Tasting Menus which are big on scallop, deer and crab. The wine-list, which starts at  €30 for a very decent Bodegas Nodus Chardonnay, is also a joy. Their opening hours are limited, so check their website before heading to this leafiest of suburbs.

Best Dish: Roast Turbot with Squash Ravioli, Caper & Crab Bisque – €20
