This wonderfully intimate, award-winning wine bar has a short but precise menu, which works its way round Europe for inspiration – and is brilliantly executed. The €15 Workers Lunch, which the last time we called in was Orecchiette Pasta, has become something of a local institution. The young staff means there’s a real energy about Etto, which is just down the road from arguably the pick of Dublin’s traditional bars, O’Donoghue’s.
