COVID-19: select museums and galleries to open next week
On June 29th and 30th, there will be a list of museums and galleries opening back up in Dublin as restrictions ease.
A select number of tourist attractions will be reopening next week, starting on June 29, including EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum.
Some outdoor attractions are already open, including Dublin Zoo and The Botanic Gardens, but the reopening of museums and galleries has been long-awaited by the Irish public.
Of course, social distancing will be maintained and there will be strict guidelines at EPIC, including reduced number of guests, time slots for large groups and families, and touch-free technology. The museum asks that patrons respectfully adhere to the social distancing and safety measures in place. "We rely on the personal and parental responsibility of visitors to follow the guidelines," the museum's webpage reads.
