This wonderful café is the real Parisian deal, with perfectly executed classics like Moules Frites, Boeuf Bourguignon, Soupe à l’Oignon and a Crème Brûlée au Crabe served up in the heart of Dublin. In addition to the lovely brick and polished wood dining-room, there’s a restaurant-level garden and sizable upper-level terrace if you prefer to go al fresco. This is the ideal space for a leisurely long lunch with friends and a glass of wine – it’s the best restaurant terrace in the city, ask for a table there when you make your booking. The food is matched by the epic wine-list, and there’s a well-stocked epicerie with lunchtime homemade filled baguettes and tasty salads. With Stephen’s Green just a short stroll away, it’s an excellent place to pick up provisions for le pique-nique. We’re also big fans of their sister eatery right in front of the Dublin Castle.
