Originally established in 1968, Chez Hans is housed in a converted Victorian Gothic church, with exquisite artworks on the wall. The food is excellent too, with big robust flavours allied to great execution of timeless classics, especially with the beef and pork which are sourced locally. There’s also a Bib Gourmand-winning Café Hans and the Stef Hans Café at the same location, which is just down the road from the famous Rock of Cashel.
Best Dish: Dover Sole on the Bone with Samphire & Crab Meuniere – €39
