Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley will be a guest on The Ray D'Arcy Show tomorrow night
This week, Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley, Anna Geary and Mairead Ronan of Ireland's Fittest Family, writer Polly Devlin, and eight of the prettiest dogs in Ireland will be in studio for The Ray D'Arcy Show.
Andrew Ridgeley – one half of '80s pop duo Wham! – will be on tomorrow night's episode of The Ray D'Arcy Show. On the docket will certainly be his longtime friendship with George Michael, the other half of Wham!, their impact on '80s music, and how the two became one of the biggest acts in pop music. Although they disbanded in 1986, five years into musical stardom, the two remain close – Ridgeley even released a book earlier this year titled George and Me, recounting their relationship.
Anna Geary and Mairead Ronan will also guest star to discuss the return of Ireland's Fittest Family this Sunday. And writer Polly Devlin will discuss some of her most iconic interviews, including Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and Yoko Ono.
Eight finalists of Ireland's Next Top Madra, which seeks to find the most beautiful dog in all of Ireland, will also join Ray in the studio.
And, in honour of the late Mic Christopher's 50th birthday, 240 musicians will perform a special rendition of 'Hey Day'.
