Watch: new trailer for Disney's 'Artemis Fowl' released
The hotly anticipated film will be released on May 29th.
Disney has released a brand new trailer for Eoin Colfer's wildly popular fantasy novel Artemis Fowl.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Colin Farrell, Josh Gad, Judi Dench and newcomer Ferdia Shaw, the film follows the journey of 12 year old criminal mastermind Artemis as he searches for his missing father. Artemis battles a powerful, hidden race of fairies who may be behind his father's disappearance.
“Disney and Kenneth Branagh have magically found a way to extract my imagination, mixed in a dollop of Disney magic and projected the enchanted concoction onto the silver screen,” says Irish author Eoin Colfer. “I am very excited for audiences to see the film."
Kenneth Branagh says Colfer “created a landmark series of books and a totally original world of characters.”
