WATCH: Alfonso Cuarón's 'ROMA' Trailer

From the director of Children of Men and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban , comes a trailer for a stunning new film, 'ROMA'.

The trailer for Alfonso Cuarón's latest film was released yesterday. Cuarón also co-produced and wrote the film.

The film features an ensemble of Mexican actors including Yalitza Aparicio, Marina de Tavira, Marco Graf, Daniela Demesa, Enoc Leaño and Daniel Valtierra

The film follows of a middle-class Mexican family who encounter various struggles throughout the course of a year.

Cuaron is known for his stunning and elaborate shots, so this film is set to be a visual treat for viewers - even with the black and white aesthetic. He is the first Mexican person to have won an Academy Award for Best Director for his work on space horror Gravity .

The film will receive a world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on August 30, 2018 before appearing at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2018.
