Sony has released the first Madame Web trailer
Dakota Johnson stars in Sony's latest Marvel endeavour, Madame Web – watch the first trailer for the film below
Sony has released the first trailer for the newest venture in the Marvel universe, Madame Web. Directed by SJ Clarkson, the new flick stars Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney in the next chapter of the Spider-Man franchise.
Johnson plays the lead role of Cassandra Webb – who goes by the name Madame Web. If you are familiar with the Marvel comics, you'll know she has psychic abilities that allow her to see into the interconnected spider world.
Sweeney plays Julia Carpenter, who takes on the mantle of Spider-Woman in the comics.
As for the rest of the cast – it includes Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott, Celeste O’Connor, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps and Zosia Mamet.
Madame Web is the next chapter of Sony’s universe of Marvel Characters, following the releases of Tom Hardy’s Venom (2018), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) and Jared Leto’s Morbius (2022).
