PREMIERE: Pauli releases brilliant animated video for his 'Cocoon' single
Sunglasses might be required as it all gets very psychedelic!
Cork born, Galway raised and now based in Dublin, Pauli has self-assembled a three-track EP, Isolation Station, which confirms him as a very fine observer of the human condition.
Released on June 5, the lead track, 'Cocoon', now has an amazing animated video to go with it courtesy of award-winning director Marc Corrigan who's previously worked with the likes of HamsandwicH, The Academic, I’m From Barcelona, The Futureheads and Dan The Automator. We won't give any spoilers, suffice it to say that it gets pretty psychedelic towards the end! View more of his work at http://www.marccorrigan.com
“All we ever wanted to do was to cocoon you/ To keep you safe and warm and hidden away”, Pauli sings before adding plaintively over the summery electro beat: "What I wouldn’t give for just one touch of your hand."
Influenced by everyone from Milky Chance and The Frames to The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys, he's been playing since he was eight and writing since his early teens. Once he's able to get out there and tour, you sense there'll be no stopping Pauli!
