Maura Higgins makes prestigious TIME100 Creators List
The Love Island reality tv star co-hosted TIME's first livestream of its annual Gala in New York.
Maura Higgins has secured a spot on the TIME100 Creators List for 2026 as one of the most influential digital creators of the past year.
The Longford native is one of 100 people included in the annual list, which recognises digital voices that are making an impact across podcasting, social media, gaming, entertainment and beauty.
Higgins is accompanied by creators such as Alex Cooper, Mr Beast, Bretman Rock, Alix Earle, Sean Evans and Khaby Lame.
The reality TV star has a following of 4.3 million on Instagram and 1.6 million on TikTok, where she shares fashion, beauty and lifestyle content as well as keeping fans informed on her television career.
Since rising to prominence on Love Island UK in 2019, "Higgins made waves in mainstream American media after joining the Love Island USA franchise in 2023," reads her profile in TIME magazine, "but her star went supernova on Season 4 of Peacock’s The Traitors, where she technically placed as a runner-up but won audiences’ hearts with her aghast reaction to winner Rob Rausch's betrayal."
The star has also appeared in Celebrity Bear Hunt and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
She was announced as a contestant on the upcoming season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars US and has landed brand deals with DoorDash and L'Oréal Paris as an influencer.
Higgins co-hosted the first livestream of the annual TIME100 red carpet Gala in New York with American television presenter, Terrence J.
