Love Actually stars to reunite for 20th anniversary special
The special will have insights from cast members Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy, Laura Linney, and Thomas Brodie Sangster, as well as director Richard Curtis.
The stars of classic holiday rom-com Love Actually will reunite on an ABC special for its 20th anniversary. The one-hour special will reveal behind the scenes secrets and insights into the iconic film's creation and significance.
ABC News anchor Dianne Sawyer will sit down for exclusive interviews with cast members Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy, Laura Linney and Thomas Brodie Sangster.
Additionally, there will be a message from Martine McCutcheon and a reenactment of Olivia Olson's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' performance. Also making an appearance is writer and director Richard Curtis.
A teaser shows the cast discussing the first time they saw the movie, what it was like for Grant to film his iconic dancing scene, and what love actually is.
Thompson discusses "love and all its messiness and its unexpectedness and that you'll find love in the weirdest places."
"I do think that the way to think about life is that everyday has the potential just to be gorgeous," Curtis added.
The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later - A Diane Sawyer Special will air on the 29th of November on ABC.
