LISTEN: Don't Worry Darling's Harry Styles and Florence Pugh share new collaborative song
Don't Worry Darling hits cinemas today, September 23.
Harry Styles and Florence Pugh of Don't Worry Darling, the new Olivia Wilde directed film, have today released a collaborative track from the movie.
'With You All the Time' features the former One Direction heart-throb on piano, but not singing. Florence Pugh instead takes the vocal line. The song is credited to Styles' and Pugh's characters Jack and Alice.
Wilde spoke about the track with Variety in an interview last month, saying that Styles called her while working on the film, asking about the song. He got back to her shortly after with the piano line that became 'With You All the Time'.
“Five minutes later, he sent me a demo from his piano, and it was what ended up in the film,” the director said. “He called me and said, ‘What about this?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s it. That’s it. And that’s really insane that you did that in five minutes.’”
The eerie track features paired back, simplistic piano from Styles and a stunning alto vocal from Pugh. Could this be the start of a musical career for the Hollywood star?
