Jack Reynor to star in Apple TV+'s Presumed Innocent season 2
Season 2 of Presumed Innocent is based on the upcoming novel, Dissection of a Murder, written by Jo Murray.
Jack Reynor will be starring in season 2 of the Apple TV+ series Presumed Innocent alongside Superman's Rachel Brosnahan.
Details on the second season of the thriller are still unknown, but it is said to be based on the debut novel written by Jo Murray, Dissection of a Murder, which will be published by Pan Macmillan in 2026.
"When Leila Reynolds is handed her first murder case, she’s shocked at how high-profile it is: the murder of a well-respected, well-known judge," reads the official synopsis.
"This shouldn’t be the kind of case she’s leading; it’s way beyond her expertise. But the defendant, Jack Millman, is clear. He wants her, and only her."
The first season (2024) was based on the 1987 bestseller Presumed Innocent, written by Scott Turow. The series, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga, was nominated for four Emmy Awards this year.
Reynor is known for projects like Ari Aster's Midsommar, Netflix drama series: The perfect Couple and Irish cult favourite Sing Street.
The Wicklow actor is also set to star in Lee Cronin's new take on the 1999 classic horror film, The Mummy, coming to cinemas in 2026.
